This is one old mix from my archive, where I tried to create some sort of story and used the Cassette-Portastudio to the max.
This is heavily influenced, or in fact a total rip-off, from a “porta-mix” made by “DJ Saine”. I got 3 mixes from a friend of DJ Saine, based in Gothenburg and these 3 mixes just blew me away! The way they were put together with inserts and tight scratching just took everything to the next level for me. I just had to try this myself. With the same “Paris”-track as a background, this was my first attempt to create something similar. Hat off to DJ Saine!

Här är en mix som sändes på Radio VSD, som jag nu gästade som professionell DJ. (Annat var det 8 år tidigare då jag besökte VSD som 11 åring. Det finns att höra, ligger på 1984)
Denna mix hade jag valt att inte spara digitalt, då jag inte tyckte att den höll måttet för att vara en av mina mixar. Men nu när ni fått ta del av allt från början, även sådant jag aldrig tänkt sprida, så skall självklart även denna mix få vara med.
Upptäckte den på ett omärkt kassettband nyligen.

Här kommer första försöket på ett årsmedley, dvs att samla lite låtar från året som gått i en mix. Allt är mixat live i en tagning med 2 grammofoner och en DJ-mixer.
Denna nyårsafton 1991 hade jag som 19-åring hyrt hela Valands festvåning och bjudit in 300 personer på 3-rätters middag. Vilken fest det blev!
Själv skulle jag såklart spela skivor som DJ för mina vänner, och denna mixen användes för att få en paus efter 12-slaget och få möjlighet att prata lite med alla mina gäster.
