Another radiostation that got in touch with me was the brand new Power 106, that was a local Urban and Dance radio based in Stockholm. They wanted 2 mixes of 1 hour each with house music, every month on their show ”Power Hot DJ Mixes”. Other known DJs that I shared this show with was Rob’n’Raz, Micke Dodd, Emil Hellman, Jonas Wikström, Jonas Lönnå och Sleepy, all with their special genres. I did 28 shows during one year and here you’ll find some selected shows from 1996.

Top-5 on the Swedish Dance Chart, compilations and a video made.
Apart from our voices, you could hear the rapper Ro-Cee laying down the phrase “Get down, touch the dancefloor”.

The girl singing in “Knockabout-Reality” and “Pierre J-Set You Free” is Malin Dahlström and is today releasing records in her Grammy-awarded project “Niki & The Dove”. You can hear her in between 8.10-16.15. In the last track you can hear vocals from DaYeene and Fredrik “Apollo” Asplund.

This is one old mix from my archive, mixes up some of the most popular songs from 1993, 93 songs in total.
All songs played from vinyl using Technics 1200 and mixed live into a 4-track cassette-portastudio, mixed into a computer, edited and then recorded on a DAT-tape. An Ensoniq-sampler was also used to create some some effects and passages.

Nyss hemkommen från EM-tävlingen i DMC European DJ Championships 1991 med en andra plats i bagaget. Förutom att min Mash-Up “Now That We Found PKA” spelades upp, så följer en intervju och även 3 minuter av mitt tävlingsbidrag från EM.
Medverkar på Club FM 1991
Under 1991 sände Club FM sina program där jag medverkade några gånger. Håkan “Moment H”, Klas Anding och Paul var några av programledarna som bjöd in mig och som jag träffade i studion.
Här hörs en liten mix med låtar från Dr Alban och Just D. Föga anade jag då att jag skulle göra officiella mixar för både Dr Alban och Just D några år senare.
